15 injured as bus rams into tree

Srirangapatna – Fifteen passengers travelling in a tourist bus sustained minor injuries, when the bus rammed into a roadside tree near the Pump House on Yelwal-Srirangapatna Road  early this morning.

While 13 of the injured passengers were treated at a hospital in Mysuru, two others were treated at a nearby hospital.

The tourist bus (AR-01 G-1071) was proceeding towards Bengaluru, when the bus lost control of its driver and rammed into a roadside tree at about 4 am, jolting the passengers out of their sleep. There were 17 passengers in the bus, it is learnt. KRS Police have registered a case in this regard.
