3-day Moot Court contest from today

JSS Law College, Mysuru, will host a 3-day National Moot Court contest starting from today.

Addressing a press meet here yesterday, College Principal Prof. K.S. Suresh said former High Court Judge Ajit Gunjal will inaugurate the event at 6 pm today. Principal District and Sessions Judge P.G.M. Patil will preside.

The valedictory will take place at 5 pm on Feb.19, with former High Court Judge N. Kumar delivering the valedictory address. Advocate General Aditya Sondhi, National Company Law Tribunal member Ratakonda Murali, Income Tax Joint Commissioner K.R. Narayan will be the chief guests at the valedictory, he said.

More than 30 law colleges from across the country are taking part in the contest, Prof. Suresh added.
