Antarprerana-17: IT, Media & Management Fest at Amrita

Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts bags Overall Championship

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, celebrated the valedictory of Antarprerana-17, an IT, Media and Management Fest at its premises in Bogadi 2nd Stage on Feb.18.

The two-day Fest was aimed at providing a learning platform for the participating students to hone their essential skills beyond academics in different fields of management, IT and media.

Events like Merch-Kaiser (Marketing), Rectocorps (HR), The Whizz (Best Manager), Obscura (Photography), Journovate (Media event),  Arena-D’el-Gamers (Lan Gaming) and Metro Coder (coding) provided real time scenario of workplace while providing entertainment and fun. Cash prizes and mementos for the winners were given away on the occasion.

The additional event at Antarprerana-17, La Dance, a contemporary and classical dance competition entertained the crowd after which Symphonia – the performing arts club at Amrita presented The Ensemble (a string of popular hits) on 17th evening. Earlier, Prof. C. Vidya Pai, Principal, welcomed. Br. Venugopal, Correspondent, graced the occasion.

The prize winners of the Fest are as follows:

The Whizz (Best Manager): Shivani, SBRR Mahajana First Grade College; Merch – Kaiser (Marketing): I prize – Mysuru Institute of Commerce and Arts (MICA), II prize – De Paul First Grade College; Rectocorps (HR): I prize – MICA; Journovate (Media event): I prize –MICA; Metro Coder (Coding): I prize – De Paul First Grade College, II prize – Mahajana First Grade College; La Dance (Solo):  I prize – De Paul College,  II prize – Yuvaraja’s College; La Dance (Group): I prize –  JSS Women’s College.

The Overall Championship was bagged by Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts (MICA).
