Kavya B. Panicker, studying in 8th Standard at Mysore West Lions Sevaniketan, Gokulam,  has bagged “Karnataka Kalashree-2016” award for outstanding performance, dedication and commitment in the field of creative art.

This award was given by Government of Karnataka at a function held on Feb.17 at Suvarna Soudha, Belagavi.

She has won many prizes at State-level and District-level drawing and painting competitions held across Karnataka. She has also won the National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan Award at Mitsubishi Asian children’s Enikki Festa.
