Mysuru: The Nazarbad Police who arrested a bike-lifter, have recovered 3 two-wheelers allegedly stolen by him.

The arrested has been identified as Sakibullah, 18, a resident of Neelakanta Nagar in Nanjangud town.

Acting on a tip off, the Nazarbad Police picked up Sakibullah when he was moving about on a motorcycle in a suspicious manner on Nanjangud road on Friday. During interrogation, he confessed to have stolen 3 two-wheelers using duplicate keys in Nazarbad and Udayagiri Police Station limits, following which a motorcycle and two scooters totally worth Rs. 1,10,000 were recovered from him.

The Lakshmipuram Police who arrested a bike-lifter have recovered 4 two-wheelers. The arrested has been identified as Satish, a resident of Hebbal. Acting on a tip off, the Police held Satish when he was attempting to steal a bike near Nanjumalige.
