CITU plans protest on Aug. 14

July 25, 2017

The CITU is planning a stir against anti-labour policies of the State and Union Governments. CITU leader Puttaswamy alleged due to anti-labour policies, company managements can transfer and terminate employees and they are harassing the workforce for no reasons. Puttaswamy said the CITU will take out a jatha from Chamarajanagar opposing privatisation of anganwadis and anti-labour policies. “We will stage a dawn to dusk stir in all taluks on August 14 and will hold a massive State-level convention in Bengaluru on September 14,” he said.
