A cow was electrocuted when it came in contact with a power transformer in Metagalli Police Station limits early this morning.

The cow, said to be belonging to one Nagaraj of Kumbarakoppal, came in contact with the transformer located on Kumbarakoppal burial ground road at about 6 am and died at the spot of electrocution, it is learnt. The  Metagalli Police visited the  spot and  conducted mahazar.
