Dist. Minister announces Rs. 2 lakh compensation to Harshal’s family

 District in-Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa yesterday announced a compensation of Rs. 2 lakh to the family of Harshal (14), who died of severe burns on Apr. 16.

The Minister, who visited the spot yesterday, also visited the village and announced the compensation to the victim’s family under Chief Minister’s Fund.

Speaking to media persons after chairing the drought relief committee meeting at DC’s office in city, the Minister said that he has instructed Deputy Commissioner (DC) D. Randeep to inspect the spot and submit a report to him.
