Donate used text-books for needy

Mysuru: Bharatiya Jain Sanghatan (BJS), as part of their ‘Vidyadaan’ programme, is collecting text-books of 10th standard and above from passing students, to be given to the needy students.

This is a pilot programme in Mysuru, which will be extended throughout the State through their organisational network having nearly 50 chapters across  Karnataka.

BJS has started collecting the text-books since May 14 and two more rounds of collection will be done on May 21 and 28 from 9 am to 11 am at Sri Sthanak Jain Bhavan in  Halladakeri, Sri Terapanth Bhavan on MG Road and Sri Kunthunath Jain Temple at Ittigegud in city.
