Bengaluru – Senior dalit activist and writer Guruprasad Keragodu of Mandya has been selected for this year’s prestigious Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Award.

A selection panel headed by writer Prof. S.G. Siddaramaiah finalised the name of Guruprasad from a list of front-runners for this prestigious award given by the State government.

Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will present the award to Guruprasad at the Ambedkar Jayanti programme to be held at Ambedkar Bhavan on Miller’s Road here on Apr.14, according to Social Welfare Minister H. Anjaneya.
