Eighty traffic violation cases against engineering student!

Mysuru: Despite the city Traffic Police creating enough awareness on traffic rules and the ill-effects of violating the same, many motorists do not bother to follow the rules such as wearing helmet, fastening seat belts, not to triple ride, not to overspeed etc. which sometimes have resulted in loss of lives.

N.R. Traffic Inspector C. Kiran Kumar, following information from the Traffic Management Centre, that a Honda Activa scooter (KA-09 HG-4864) had 80 traffic violation cases against it, came to know that the scooter belonged to one Abhilash of Sunnadakeri through the RC, got the vehicle seized. He is an engineering student, who had 80 traffic violation cases against him but had failed to pay the fines. It was only then Abhilash paid the fine of Rs. 8,000 following which, the Cops released the seized scooter yesterday.
