    • R.K.Gowda says:

Yes, I still remember Devaraj Urs reduced the retirement age of state government employees from 58 to 55 in the pretext of solving the unemployment problem of youngsters and filled every one of the Lakhs of jobs created by taking bribe! Bribes ranged from Rs 25000 to 5 Lakhs those days depending on corruption oppurtunities of those position!
He was the first CM who standardized corruption and made it very organized ! People used to write written tests and face job interviews while his agents spotted the people who were willing to bribe and filled those positions!
Then he was a true congress leader who supported Indira Gandhi!
