Hundreds queue-up for applications

Mysuru: Hundreds of aspirants queued-up in front of Devaraja Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation Limited located at Kuvempunagar here this morning to get their hands on applications being distributed by the Corporation for beneficiaries under various schemes.  

People belonging to backward communities from Nanjangud, T. Narasipur  and other taluks have been taking the applications by submitting a photocopy of their ID cards and Aadhaar Cards.

The applications will be distributed till May 30. The Corporation will provide loans from Rs. 35,000 up to Rs. 1 lakh for the beneficiaries. General Manager H.A. Shobha informed   that the Corporation receives around 20,000 applications   every year.
