IPL Fan Park comes to Mysuru again Opening ceremony and match to be telecast live on giant screen at Manasagangothri

Mysuru will play host to IPL Fan Park for the 2017 season’s opener along with three other cities Guwahati, Mathura and Aurangabad on Apr.5. The IPL authorities will be setting up a giant screen measuring 32×18 ft to create a stadium like environment for the fans to enjoy the game.

They will live telecast the opening ceremony followed by the inaugural match between defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad and last year’s runner-up team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

The Fan Park will be set up adjacent to SDNR Wadiyar Stadiu at Manasagangothri and the entry for park is free. There will also be virtual cricket arena inside the park apart from exclusive IPL merchandise for the lucky fans. The capacity in the Mysore Fan Park is around 10,000 and the gates will be open at 5 pm.

Fans will also get to enjoy some good music, food and beverages at the Park.

Initially, launched in 16 cities during 2015, IPL Fan Park has become a great hit among the people in the country. This year, the Park will be set up at 36 cities in 21 States which includes 14 new cities like Bhubaneshwar, Bareilly, Kochi, Ludhiana, Tumakuru and Nagercoil. The IPL Fan Park has hit the north-east with Shimla and Shillong hosting the Fan Park for the first time.
