Viani Antanio D’cunha (M’luru) with 8.5 points from ten rounds won the Karnataka State Open FIDE Rating Chess Championship-2017 which concluded here yesterday.

Mysuru lad Chaitanya Ganesh secured 6 points from ten rounds and finished 46th in the rankings. He had wins over Anikaith, Thulasi Reddy, G. Kruti, Kiran Raghavan and Hrishikesh Rupesh.
