Mandya Bishop to deliver St. Philos convocation address

The third Convocation of St. Philomena’s College (autonomous) will be held at the college indoor stadium here on March 31 at 3 pm.

Most Rev. De. Antony Kariyil, the Bishop of Mandya, who  was also the former Principal of Christ University, Bangalore  and also the Superior General of CMI  congregation, will be the chief guest and deliver the Convocation address.  

Most Rev. Dr. K.A. William, the Bishop of Mysore and the President of Mysore Diocesan Educational Society, will preside. The Administrator Rev. Msgr. Dr. Marie Joseph, Rector. Rev. Fr. Leslie Moras and Dr. Ruth Shanthakumari, Principal, will  be present on the occasion.

In all, 269 students will receive Degree certificates for completing BA, BSc., B.Com, BBM, BCA and BBM Degrees            and 161 students Post-Graduation Degrees in Chemistry, Physics, Social Work, Commerce, English, Computer Science and Communication and Journalism.

Students who have completed their Degree or PG course from  St. Philomena’s College must get in touch with the college immediately and register their names.
