MCC instructs eateries to maintain cleanliness

March 14, 2017

Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has taken steps to prevent spread of epidemic diseases.

In a press release, MCC Commissioner has asked owners of hotels, canteens and fast food joints to provide hot water, clean food and ensure cleaning of vessels in hot water using a detergent.

He has further asked the owners to get the tables and floor cleaned using an insecticide and also keep the kitchen clean always. He has advised the owners to employ healthy staff who should be compulsorily provided with hand gloves and aprons. They have also been instructed to store prepared food items in glass cases and those selling cut fruits by the roadside should ensure proper cover from insects.
