Suttur Seer at ‘Gnana-Vignana Divya Darshan’ Mela

Noting that mutual trust helps a lot in building a better society, Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji said that meditation and spiritualism hold key for leading a stress-free life.

He was speaking after inaugurating the 15-day ‘Gnana-Vignana Divya Darshan’ Mela organised by Prajapita Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidhyalaya, Mysuru division, as part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations at Maharaja’s College Grounds here yesterday.

Stating that the present day society is leading a stressful life, Sri Deshikendra Swamiji opined that Prajapita Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidhyalaya, through its nearly 8,000 branches across the world, is making all efforts for making the society stress-free.

Explaining Guru-Shishya (Teacher-Student) relation by quoting a Allama Prabhu Vachana, he said that Alama’s words are very much relevant even today. Regretting that evils such as jealousy and hatred still very much existed in the society, he called upon Seers, Saints and Sadhus to work for eradicating social evils, which have long been haunting the society.

Sri Swamiji went around the Mela visiting the stalls which featured darshan of Amarnatheswara in a Cave at a height of 40 ft., 27ft long-sleeping Kumbakarna who will sit up and speak, divine darshan of Dwadasha Jyothirlinga etc. MP C.S. Puttaraju, MLA S.R. Mahesh, Brahmakumaris Lakshmiji, Ashaji, Nirmalaji, Vijayaji and Sunitaji, Brahmakumara Pranesh and others were present.
