Mysore Varsity Inter-Collegiate Inter-Zonal Men Games: PGSC excels

On the inaugural day of the three-day Mysore University Inter-Collegiate Inter-Zonal Men Games (2016-17), PG Sports Council (PGSC) Manasagangothri, hogged the limelight by winning the Lawn Tennis and Table Tennis titles at the University Grounds yesterday.

In the Lawn Tennis final, PGSC beat Sri Mahadeshwara FGC, Kollegal 2-0.

In Table Tennis, PGSC beat Govt. College (Autonomous), Mandya 2-0 in the final.

The PGSC also finished runner-up in Cricket.

Final Placings

Lawn Tennis: 1. PGSC, MG, 2. Sri Mahadeshwara FGC, Kollegal, 3. SBRR Mahajana FGC.

Cricket: 1. Maharaja’s College, 2. PGSC, Manasagangothri, 3. PES, Mandya.

Table Tennis: 1. PGSC, MG, 2.Govt. College (Autonomous), 3. Seshadripuram FGC, Mysore.
