As part of Swachh Bharat campaign, Mayor M.J. Ravikumar launched a cleanliness drive at the park in front of JSS High School in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage here on Sunday. The campaign was organised by Vijayanagar 2nd Stage Residents Welfare Association with residents and morning walkers taking part in the cleanliness drive.

Speaking on the occasion, Ravikumar said that Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) was extending all support for citizens and organisations to keep the city clean so that it could bag the ‘Cleanest city’ tag for the third time in a row.

Former Dy. Mayor Mahadevappa, Assn. President Shivegowda, Secretary Nagaraj, Treasurer Harsha and others participated in the cleanliness drive.
