Rtn. M.S. Nandakumar passes away

Mysuru: Builder and Rotarian M.S. Nandakumar (64), passed away this morning following a heart attack. A resident of Kuvempunagar, he leaves behind wife Anuradha Nandakumar, son Nishanth, daughter Nimisha and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral will be held tomorrow morning at the foot of Chamundi Hill.

Nandoo, as his friends fondly called him, was an active Rotarian, and was the President of Rotary Mysore Midtown, Assistant Governor and led a group study exchange team to Georgia, US.

He was very active in Builders Association of India (BAI). He was the State Chairman of BAI and Managing Committee member of All India Builders Association.

Nandakumar was the founder of Namana Creation, a cultural organisation and built Namana Kalamantapa to promote art and culture. He mentored youngsters in BAI and Rotary who have gone on to become leaders in various organisations. He was also a philanthropist who donated generously to causes.
