Periyapatna: A public grievances meet of SC/ST communities was held at Bylakuppe Police Station in the taluk recently.

Speaking at the meeting, PSI Ramachandra Nayak asked the public to inform the Police if they find illegal sale of liquor and such other illegal activities going on in their villages or surroundings.

Pointing out that petty issues can be resolved in villages itself, the PSI asked the Dalits to refrain from visiting Courts and other offices over trivial issues.

ASI Srinivasalu, community leaders Rajaiah, Raju, Ramesh Nayaka, Honnaiah and others took part.
