Seventh Pay Commission to be constituted in April

Chief Minister Siddharamaiah has said that the Seventh Pay Commission for revision of pay scales of Government employees will be constituted in April.

Announcing this in the State Assembly recently, the CM said that the Commission Chairman and members will be  appointed soon.

Stating that the Government was aware of pay disparity between State and Central Government employees, Siddharamaiah said that IAS officers were given allowances as per Central pay scales and added that the Seventh Pay Commission was announced in the Mar. 15 State Budget.
