Two elephants electrocuted in Kodagu

Mysuru: Two female elephants, aged between 19 and 26 years, which had come to an estate in Kanangala village, Virajpet taluk in Kodagu, were electrocuted late last night after they came in contact with a live wire passing through the estate when they were plucking leaves from a tree. Forest officials conducted an inspection of the spot.
