A body of an unidentified person aged between 45 and 50 years has been found by the Forest Department personnel in the fringes of Gulledalla Forest on B.M. Road in Bylakuppe in Periyapatna taluk yesterday morning.

Though it is doubted that the deceased may have been hit by an unidentified vehicle, the exact reason for his death is yet to be ascertained.

Following information from the Forest Department personnel, Bylakuppe Police, who have registered a case in this regard, shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary in Mysuru for post-mortem.

The deceased is oily-red complexioned and was wearing a blue coloured jeans pant and a faded half arm shirt when found.
