Unity March marks Popular Front Day

February 18, 2017

As part of the 10th anniversary of Popular Front of India (PFI), thousands of PFI activists, accompanied by members of various organisations, took out a Unity March in Rajiv Nagar, from Shabnam Function Hall to the ground near Nimra Mosque, yesterday to mark Popular Front Day celebrations. PFI National Organising Secretary Abdul Wahid Sait inaugurated the programme in the presence of Prof. Mahesh Chandra Guru of the University of Mysore, SDPI State General Secretary Abdul Majeed and PFI State Unit President Muhammed Shakeeb.

ONE COMMENT ON THIS POST To “Unity March marks Popular Front Day”

  1. Qaseem Khan says:

Instead of a march past a community service program such as cleaning in densely populated areas would be apt way to celebrate. Such march pasts and drills though discipline the cadre but fails to ignite the true spirit of Nationalism, brotherhood and Love amongst countrymen.
