Uzbekistan ITF Women’s Futures: Dhruthi goes down in second round

Mysuru based Dhruthi T. Venugopal, who took part in the ITF Women’s Futures Tennis tournament held at Namangan, Uzbekistan yesterday, lost her Women’s Singles second round tie against Russia’s Ksenia Lykina.

Ksenia beat Dhruthi 7-6 (3), 6-3 and entered quarter-finals in the Women’s Singles event.

In the Women’s Doubles, Sabina Sharipova  & Valeria Strakhova of Uzbekistan beat Dhruthi T. Venugopal & Kyra Shroff 6-4, 6-3 and entered the semi-finals.
