Woman PSI injured as car collides with two-wheeler

A woman PSI had a narrow escape after the car she was travelling fell into a canal following a head-on collision with a two-wheeler (KA 54 E 1996) near Gandhinagar in K.R. Pet taluk.

The Police said that Maddur PSI Savitha was travelling towards Hassan to attend a Court hearing along with driver Yogesh in a i10 car (KA 11 M 8339) when the incident occurred. While Yogesh suffered a broken hip, Savitha escaped with minor injuries. Kikkeri PSI R. Siddaraju and ASI Chowdegowda rushed to the spot and shifted both Savitha and driver Yogesh to District Hospital. The two-wheeler rider, who also suffered minor injuries, was also shifted to the hospital.
