Mysuru: Rebutting claims made by Mysuru Hotel Owners Association, OYO, a leading hospitality company and hotel aggregator, on Wednesday said that the allegations that they were charging up to 40 percent of the accommodation charges as franchise fee was totally false.
In a press note released on Wednesday, the aggregator company OYO said, “Certain individuals and associations with vested interests have falsely claimed that we are charging 40 percent of the accommodation charges as franchise fee, which is absolutely incorrect. We have not charged anything over 25 percent and nor do we intend to unless it is for value-added services.”
Pointing out that OYO will continue to engage with its asset owners on a one-to-one basis, the hotel aggregator said that it was privileged to partner with asset owners and independent hoteliers across the country and globally, to ensure a much higher occupancy leading to better financial returns on all of their hard-earned investments.
Noting that OYO Hotels has provided hundreds of jobs in Mysuru, as it runs over 100 franchised and leased hotels in the city with 2,000 plus exclusive rooms, release said that the hotel aggregator company remains committed to creating quality living spaces for anyone and everywhere, while creating multiple job opportunities.
