A fund raising concert in aid of senior citizens
Mysore/Mysuru: Team Swaraanjali, a group of passionate singers from different professional backgrounds, have joined hands with Loyal World for a noble cause of providing services to the Old Age Homes.
In view of this, Swaraanjali has organised a music programme titled ‘Aralu Maralu – Marali Aralu’ on Dec. 18 at 3 pm at Mysore Medical College Platinum Jubilee Auditorium, J.K Grounds.
Prof. M. Krishne Gowda, noted humorist and retired Principal of St. Philomena’s College, Mysuru will be the chief guest. Dr. B.N. Ravish, HoD of Psychology Department, MMC&RI, will be the special invitee. Dr. H.N. Dinesh, Dean & Director of MMC&RI, will preside. Dr. Lavanya Shenoy, Senior Surgeon and Meera Srikanth, Music Teacher, Ideal Jawa Rotary School, Mysuru will be present at the stage programme.
On the same day from 5 pm, there will be musical evening by 20-member Swaraanjali troupe and live orchestra by 30 musicians. The singers are: Dr. Lavanya Shenoy, Dr. M.N. Raghuveer, Meera Srikanth, Bhuvaneshwari Venkatesh, Kalamandalam Suchitra Anil Kumar, M.S. Balaji, S. Roopashree, Deepa Subramanya, Dr. N.M. Suneetha, M.R. Thulasananda, Divya Keshavan, H.P. Madhusudan,
Rashmi Rao, R. Srinivas, Darshitha Rajendra, M.V. Jeevan Kumar, V. Nikhil Prabhu, Sandesh Jain, Ananya Ravikumar and M.P Sirigowri.

The Sound Engineer for the programme is Chandrashekar, who is a Chief Sound Engineer at Vijay Antony Film Productions, Chennai.
Dr. M.N. Raghuveer of Swaraanjali said that as part of this project, Team Swaraanjali will be providing financial help and health camps to the elderly people of “Green Dot Trust” old age home. Organisers have fixed Re. 1 as entry ticket for the fund raising concert and generous donations are also accepted.
