B.S. Shankar (78), Personal Assistant of Chamarajanagar MP V. Sreenivasa Prasad and a resident of Navilu Road in Kuvempunagar, passed away at a private hospital here yesterday following brief illness.
A native of Basavapatna village, he leaves behind his wife, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Shankar was the Personal Assistant of MP Sreenivasa Prasad since 1986 and had earlier served in the Archaeology, Heritage and Museum Department in Bengaluru and had also served at the Tobacco Board for two years.
