BJP expels 6 for anti-party activities

Mysuru:  The BJP has expelled six members from the party who have contested MCC and Town Panchayat polls in the district, for contesting against the party’s official candidates.

BJP District President M. Shivanna in a press release, said that the six members expelled are B.E. Rakesh, who is contesting from MCC Ward 58, K.N. Shobha from MCC Ward 44, L. Manjunath from Ward 4 of T. Narasipur Town Panchayat (TP), Lakshmi from Ward 7 of T. Narasipur TP, Vishwaradhya Ward 12 of H.D. Kote Town Panchayat and Umesh Ward 21 of H.D. Kote Town Panchayat. The six have been expelled for anti-party activities and defying party leadership the release said.
