National Science Day was celebrated at St. Joseph’s First Grade College in city recently.
Dr. Harish R. Bhat, Researcher and Consultant in the field of Ecology and Bio diversity, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, spoke on the occasion besides interacting with the students and motivating them to take up research. Principal Prof. C.M.Mani, in his Presidential address told the students to imbibe the spirit of scientific attitude and temperament.
Prof. P.S. Annapurneshwara, HOD, Physics Department welcomed the gathering. B.K. Devika and N.V. Aishwarya anchored the programme and proposed a vote of thanks.
Mysore Diocesan Educational Society in-charge Secretary Fr. Vijay Kumar and Dean (Academic) Mallikarjuna Setty were present.
