Sir,
It is unfortunate that the open field by the side of Water Works on Paduvana Road, Kuvempunagar, which belongs to MUDA, is full of filth and a dumping yard for garbage. Unhygienic parthenium weeds have grown up to 4 or 5 feet all over the place. A discarded electric pole is lying in the spot for several months.
Nowadays construction debris are also being dumped and has become an open urinal for men who stop their vehicle and relieve themselves. This Road being a heavy traffic stretch and residential area, it looks very ugly.
May I request the authorities concerned to clean up this mess and keep this beautiful residential area neat and tidy. The tag that Mysuru is a ‘Cleanest City’ should not become a misnomer.
I suggest the MUDA authorities to develop this area into a beautiful park as there are no parks in the vicinity. Alternatively a public utility building, housing Post Office, Bank, Police Station, KEB counters, MysoreOne Centre, may be constructed or a play ground, a swimming pool, also may be thought of.
