FDP on ‘Current Research Trends in Autonomous Robotics’ held

Mysuru: The three-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Current Research Trends in Autonomous Robotics’ was organised by the Department of Instrumentation Technology and Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology (GSSSIETW) in association with Silicon Micro Systems, Bengaluru, at the College premises in city recently. The FDP was inaugurated by Nagendra R. Setty, Founder-Director, Ideas Unlimited, Mysuru.

Nagendra Setty, in his keynote address, highlighted the  expertise in many domains of product engineering, product design which help  to employ current and cutting edge technologies to make high quality and well thought of products and in mechanical, electronics, software (embedded, PC, mobile devices), physics, optics and many other engineering domains that help in developing great technologies and products. He also said that this type of event provides platform for the faculty members and researchers to know and understand various aspects of fast changing technologies in robotics to strengthen their knowledge.

GSSS Hon. Secretary Vanaja B. Pandit presided. Member and CEO R.K. Bharath, Principal Dr. K.A. Sumithra Devi, AAO Anupama B. Pandit, HoD of IT Dr. M. Shivakumar and HoD of EEE Dr. S. Vagdevi were present.
