L.K. Advani to dedicate 3D Mapping on Hanuman Statue in city tomorrow

Mysuru: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister L.K. Advani will be dedicating the 3D Mapping of Hanuman Chalisa on the 45-feet tall Karya Siddhi Hanuman Statue using a 4K Projector at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama in city tomorrow at 6 pm.

With this, the idol will be the first Hindu deity in the world to be worshipped through sophisticated technology.

It may be recalled that this technological feat was demonstrated to the media persons and select gathering at the Ashrama here last month where rituals were performed as per “Hanuman Chalisa” shlokas written by Saint Tulsidas.

The worship, played through state-of-the-art technology included Abhisheka, Deepaalankaara, Tulsi and flower Swarnabhisheka for over eight minutes.

This apart, scenes from burning of Ravana’s Lanka, Hanuman giving Lord Rama’s insignia to Sita, scenes from war between Lord Rama and Ravana were depicted along with a visual where Sri Swamiji is seen standing at the feet of Lord Hanuman.

Avadhoota Datta Peetha has organised the dedication ceremony as part of Hanuman Jayanti and Dattatreya Jayanti programmes from Dec.1 to Dec. 3 at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama in Dattanagar on Ooty Road here.

Various rituals including Dattatreya Yaga, Pavamana Sukta Parayana, Abhishekam to Hanuman, Sri Chakra Puja, Nakshatra Ishti Homa Purnahuti, Ksheerabhisheka to Dattatreya, Rathotsava of Dattatreya,  Bhajans by Sri Swamiji, Sahasra Kalasha Thailabhisheka to Dattatreya by devotees and Chandramasa Ishti Yaga will be  performed.

The celebrations will conclude with Teppotsavam of Dattatreya Swamy in Saptarshi Sarovara at the Ashrama on Dec. 3 at 7 pm.
