Make Mysuru city roads free of pits and potholes before Dasara

Sir,

Most of the roads — opposite to Fire Brigade, Christ the King Convent, Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, so on and so forth — in Mysuru city have pits and potholes. These roads have not been repaired for a long time.

Like these there are many roads across the city that are in a pathetic condition and need immediate attention.

It is causing a lot of discomfort to the motorists (both two and four-wheelers) who are commuting regularly via these roads. If not repaired, it may lead to fatal accidents, especially during night time.

I can’t understand the callous attitude of the authorities though they are collecting hefty tax from the public every year. Are they blindfolded ?

Dasara festival is round the corner. People from other States are expected to visit Mysuru during that time.

Hence, I appeal to the authorities concerned to attend to this issue with top priority and make Mysuru city roads free of pits and potholes well before the start of Dasara festival.
