Fourth-seed Sasi Kumar Mukund playing some consistent tennis advanced into the pre-quarterfinals in the men’s singles event in the $15,000 ITF India F4 Futures Men’s Tennis Tournament being played at BSP Tennis Complex in Bhilai yesterday.
Sasi Kumar Mukund beat Aryan Goveas 6-2, 6-2 to sail into the pre-quarter-finals in the men’s singles event. Mysuru lad C. Vasisht will take on second seeded Sriram Balaji while another Mysuru lad Suraj R. Prabodh will take on Germany’s Pirmin Haenle in the men’s singles pre-quarterfinals to be played today.
