Students take up cleaning around temple atop Chamundi Hill

Mysuru:  Students and faculty of Sapient College of Commerce and Management, together with members of Let’s do it! Mysore, took up a cleaning programme around the Chamundeshwari temple atop Chamundi Hill here this morning.

About 200 participants set out from the College premises in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage in open jeeps towards the Hill Temple and the rally was flagged off by Sapient Education Institutions Secretary Diljit Ram Choudhary.

Speaking on the occasion, College Director Girish Baaga said that cleanliness was vital for environmental protection. However, he pointed out that cleanliness of the mind was equally important to emerge as good citizens.

College Principal K. Ganesh, B.S. Prashanth of Let’s do it! Mysore and others were present.
