Sir,
The traffic signal near Manasagangothri at the intersection of Bogadi Road and Vishwamanava Double Road needs to be synchronised. Vehicles moving in opposite direction along Bogadi road only have to wait alternatively for green signal. As a result the commuters along this road have to wait for a long time before they get green signal.
Right now at this junction there are signals in three directions — namely vehicle going towards Bogadi side (Bake Point junction), vehicles coming from Bogadi side going towards MUDA junction and going towards Vishwamanava Double road.
My suggestion to the Traffic Department is to synchronise the traffic signal for those vehicles coming in opposite direction via Bogadi road so that the motorists in both the directions can commute simultaneously. This in turn will not only save time for the commuters, especially during peak hours but also reduce the traffic intensity at this junction.
