Sir,
There is one important road connecting Kalidasa Road near Karnataka Bank to Contour Road near Aditya Hospital which passes through the cremation ground on both the sides.
Recently in a stretch of about 200 to 300 meters, it seems the UGD line has been freshly laid and after that it has been filled with jelly and M-sand. But this road is very narrow and has become very difficult for the two and four-wheelers to go in that uneven road. One vehicle has to stop to allow the opposite vehicle to pass-by.
Meanwhile, some drivers (especially two-wheelers) continually honk from behind to give way because of the unevenness of the road after the UGD work. Some drivers do not give way to motorists who want to overtake and thus even engage in verbal exchange.
The road condition is in such a way that the jelly filled UGD work may puncture the tyres also. As a result, the drivers hesitate to run the vehicle on those points which causes irritation to other drivers who want to overtake.
Hence, the authorities concerned are requested to asphalt the road immediately to avoid accidents and inconvenience to the motorists.
