March 6, 2017

‘Aavishkaar-2017,’ a two-day Management-Commerce Fest and ‘Sitara,’ Inter-Collegiate Competition, organised by JSS College for Women, Saraswathipuram, began at the College premises here this morning.

Sudhanva, Chief Executive Officer, ExcelSoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd., inaugurated the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Sudhanva said that with rapid digitalisation going on in Commerce and Management fields, students need to update their digital skills in keeping with the present day standards.

Pointing that there were ample opportunities across the globe in Commerce and Management fields, he said that graduating students can survive only if they had knowledge and talent coupled with present day skills.

Recalling that in the past, it was enough if students were thorough only with their academic curriculum, he noted that the situation has completely changed now, in which only those excelling in skills can survive in this world of cut-throat competition.

Emphasising on the need for getting regularly updated in this era of digitalisation, Sudhanva said that such events will greatly help the participants to understand the developments going on in their field.
