Mysuru: Ganabharathi has oragnised Veena Vidushi Chokkamma Memorial Concert on Dec.21 at 6 pm at Veene Seshanna Bhavana in Kuvempungar by Vid. Krishnamurthy, Vid. Vijayasurya and Vid. K. Chetan on Nagaswara. They will be accompanied by Vid. Puttaswamy and Vid. P. Shivu on Tavil.
Vid. Krishnamurthy started learning music from his grandfather Vid. T. Pappayya and later continued his tutelage under Asthana Vidwan Mysore N. Nagaraju and Vid. Parthasarathy. He is also a disciple of Bellary M. Venkateshachar.
An ‘A’ grade artiste of All India Radio, he is serving as Asthana Vidwan at Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hill and has given concerts throughout India.
