Woman injured by cow succumbs at hospital

Mysuru: A 60-year-old woman, who was seriously injured when a cow gored her and admitted to K.R. Hospital, has breathed her last at the hospital on Saturday.

The deceased woman is Shivamma, a resident of Gopalapura in the taluk.

Shivamma, on Sept.3, was grazing cows in a field when they began to fight.

Shivamma, who tried to separate them, was gored on her back by one of the cows resulting in her suffering serious injuries and admitted to K.R. Hospital for treatment where she passed away on Saturday.

A case has been registered at Mysuru Rural Police Station in this regard.
