Mysuru: The fees for Post-Graduation (PG) courses (MD or MS) at the Medical Colleges (autonomous and Government Medical Colleges) for the year 2024-25 in the State, has been hiked by 10%, according to a notification issued by R. Manjunath, Under Secretary-3, Department of Medical Education.
The new order of 10% hike in fees for PG courses for 2024-25 applies to all colleges coming under Government Autonomous Medical Colleges, Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation, Association of Minority Professional Colleges in Karnataka and Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association, Deemed University and Private University.
As per the revised fees at Government Autonomous Medical Colleges, the fees for MD/MS Clinical Courses is Rs. 1.10 lakh (Rs. 1 lakh in 2023-24), Para-Clinical: Rs. 55,000 (Rs. 50,000) and Pre-Clinical: Rs. 27,500 (Rs. 25,000).
Under private quota, MD/MS Clinical Courses: Rs. 13,72,994 (Rs. 12,48,176 in 2023-24), Para-Clinical: Rs. 3,43,253 (Rs. 3,12,048) and Pre-Clinical: Rs. 1,72,668 (Rs. 1,56,971).
Under Government quota, MD/MS Clinical Courses- Rs. 7,68,108 (Rs. 6,98,280 in 2023-24), Para-Clinical: Rs. 1,92,027 (Rs. 1,74,570) and Pre-Clinical: Rs. 96,015 (Rs. 87,286).
