100-bed Hospital at Hunsur to be inaugurated in a year

Bengaluru: Health Minister Dinesh Gundurao said that the 100-bed General Hospital being constructed at Hunsur will be inaugurated in a year. The Minister was replying to a question by Hunsur MLA G.D. Harish Gowda during Question Hour in the State Assembly on Thursday.

Harish Gowda said that the hospital building has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 31 crore. But Rs. 14 crore more is needed for taking up other works such as road, compound wall, lift installation etc., without which  the hospital remains incomplete.

Dinesh Gundurao said that Rs. 10 crore has been sanctioned for the hospital’s infrastructure development in the new building and it will be seen that the new 100-bed hospital will become functional in a year.
