Mysore/Mysuru: As many as 878 students in the State have rejected their second PUC results (2020-21) and submitted applications to re-appear in the annual exam scheduled to be held on Aug.19.
In Mysuru district, 11 students have rejected the results and will appear for the Aug.19 exam.
Mysuru DDPUE Srinivas said that 11 students, who were not satisfied with results, have applied for exam. Also, 6 students who had registered in 2020 to better their results, too will appear for exam. As such, the Department is making arrangements for conducting the exam for 17 (11+6) students, he said.
These students do not have the option of going back to the initial results. Most of the 878 students, including 11 in Mysuru, want to improve their marks as they think their SSLC marks affected their results, he added.
II PU exam (2020-21) was not held this year due to COVID-19 and all students who had registered, were promoted based on their SSLC marks, I and II PU internal marks, with an addition of 5 percent grace marks.
