Kumar Performing Arts Centre, Mysuru, will be presenting 11th Nirantara Kalemane Festival at Kalemane auditorium in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage on July 24 at 4.30 pm. Karnataka Kalashree Nritya Guru Prof. M. Shankuntala, retired Principal, University College of Fine Arts, Manasagangothri, a Rajyotsava and Shantala Awardee, will be conferred with Kalemane Award. Dr. Mahajabeen Najm, former Principal and Professor, University College of Fine Arts and Dr. Jamunarani V. Mirle, Secretary, Mysore Art Gallery, will be the chief guests.
The evening will also feature Bharatanatyam by disciples of Karnataka Kalashree Guru Prof. Dr. K. Kumar of Kumar Performing Arts Centre, Mysuru; Nritya Sambhrama by disciples of Karnataka Kalashree Guru Vidya Ravishankar, Director, Sri Matruka Cultural Trust; Bharatanatyam by disciples of Guru Rajeshwari Ravi, daughter of Guru Krishnaveni Rangarao, Director, Shraddha School of Dance and Music; Nrithya Vaibhava by disciples of Guru Arathi Arun, Sri Ganesha Sangeetha Nrityala Charitable Trust; Bharatanatyam by disciples of Vid. Gururaj Vasisth, Sudhindra Nritya Kalaniketana, Bengaluru.
