In the 12th South Zone National Netball Championship for Men and Women held at Don Bosco HSS Institution, Thrissur, on Nov.20 and 21, the Karnataka men and women secured silver medals. The Karnataka men beat Andra Pradesh 26-13 and Puducherry 17-14 in the league matches and beat Tamil Nadu 28-20 in the semi-final; In finals, Karnataka lost to Kerala 18-24. The Karnataka women beat Tamil Nadu 32-12 and Andra Pradesh 28-08 in the league matches and beat Telangana 19 -06 in the semi-final. In Finals, Karnataka lost to Kerala 21-24.
