GM Thejkumar of Mysuru placed third
N. Lokesh of Tamil Nadu with 7.5 points from eight rounds emerged as the sole leader in the 13th BRDCA International Open FIDE Rating Chess Tournament being played at Bengaluru on Monday.
TN’s P.R. Hirthickkesh is placed second with 7 points and is followed by Karnataka’s Grand Master M.S. Thejkumar from Mysuru with 6.5 points.
A total of 13 players are tied with 6.5 points and are placed from 3rd to 15th in the rankings after the eighth round.
